The launch of Issue #3 SPACE was one hell of a party! Thanks to everyone for braving the rain and coming along, dressing up, dancing, singing, falling, partying, donating and purchasing (and that crowd surfing shark – AMAZING!). Also, a huge, huge thanks to the bands – Actor/Model, Clavians, Ouch My Face and Plague Doctor – you went off, and I don’t think the band room has been feeling the same over since. Also, special thanks to the DJs – Dante, Vicky, Krystal and Matt – so many awesome tunes (especially Dead Moon Night at the very start of the night). And an extremely special thanks to the people at Stafford Street for putting up with us. Everyone was in great spirits and it was great to see so many people supporting the writers, artists, and musicians involved in this lil’ publication. šŸ™‚ More photo’s will be available on Flickr soon.

About deathofascenester

death of a scenester is an independent publication aiming to publish quality writing with a real voice. death of a scenester will maintain a gritty, punk, DIY underground edge but will also uphold a slicker style. Its ethos is that it would like to strike the ground squarely between a gritty grass-roots zine publication that promotes the total freedom of artistic and individual expression and Realpolitik (pragmatic, honest, controversial) type publications, which have articles and opinion pieces that refer to the generation gap, music, art, immigration, and counter-cultural activities.
